I have been involved with Direct Sales businesses ever since high school so when I heard about Noah's Ark Animal Workshops, I knew it was an opportunity I should not miss. My daughters and I had been to the build a bear type stores in the mall several times and I always said if someone put that concept into a direct sales business, I would be "in". Well, I found that company and I finally found a business where I could work with my children, instead of leaving them at home each time I went out to a party. Plus, the Noah's Ark stuffed animals are just adorable. My neighbor and friend, Laura #35, signed up for Noah's Ark with me the day after I did and we're both having a blast! The next day, my online friend Kim #38 joined with me as well. Her business continues to grow and it's been fun to grow in our friendship and in business together. The next week, my good friend Tammi #43, joined too. With a couple of ads in the newspaper and telling her story to others, she was soon doing large events and birthday parties consistently and her business flourished. Since then I have had my sister as well as my dear friend and past neighbor Kelley join me in the business and I have met a remarkable group of women across the country with whom I have developed wonderful friendships as well. Because of these great ladies - and I wish I could list them all - our team is the fastest growing in the company! It is more than just exciting! We home school and this is a great addition to their curriculum- and we have fun together as we're working. I couldn't ask for anything better than that. Thankfully, my husband has been very supportive as well. He sees this as our family business and if things continue to progress as they are now, we will meet our goal of allowing him to leave his corporate job to work with us more actively. I am passionate about direct sales in general and really see this as an avenue for women, and especially moms, to really shine. The reason I really am particularly excited about Noah's Ark is I see it as the perfect family business. Moms can not only provide a good income for the family and still stay home, but they can really involve their kids as well, teaching them great business and people skills in the process.
